"This chair was my grandfather's chair in the living room in the JP house where my mom grew up. He sat in it every night and also Sunday mornings. It was different upholstery in JP and maybe redone when they brought it to the Cape. It was in the Living room in Cummaquid and then must have been moved to West Yarmouth. Nana and Boppy bought their furniture new after they were married in 1934 and before JP in 1941. That chair is probably 80 years old and was top of the line Paine Furniture Store. I am very impressed with the job John and his team did to save this family item. Why buy new when you can recover quality!"
