Our clients came to us with a classic sofa that had great structural bones and a timeless silhouette, but it was seriously lacking in the comfort department. The original design featured:

• A single, hard seat cushion that provided little give
• No back cushions, making extended sitting uncomfortable
• Attractive but impractical upholstery that didn't suit daily use

While the sofa looked elegant in their space, it had become more of a showpiece than a functional seating option—something we were determined to change.

Our Custom Transformation Process

Step 2: Custom Comfort Engineering
The original single seat cushion was replaced with a thoughtfully designed three-cushion configuration, providing better weight distribution and individualized comfort. We had our clients test different foam densities and thicknesses to find their perfect balance of softness and support.

For the back, we created three super soft high-density back cushions—an addition that dramatically transformed the sitting experience from stiff and upright to enveloping and comfortable.

Step 3: Performance Fabric Selection
Knowing that beautiful furniture should be lived in, not just looked at, we guided our clients toward a high-performance Crypton stain-resistant fabric in a soft, neutral linen look. This practical yet sophisticated choice:
